Stonebridge Property Group is pleased to confirm the ‘off market’ sale of AMX Epping.

The large format retail showroom/warehouse is located 17km* north of Melbourne’s CBD within the suburb of Epping.

The property, that was trading as an AMX/Repco store, both subsidiaries of global powerhouse – GPC Asia Pacific. GPC occupied the property via a 6-year term which included a clause allowing termination of the lease every 3-years.

We view the off-market transaction as strong, particularly given the high profile and experienced investors who submitted unconditional positions.

The fact that these groups were able to look past the less than favourable lease structure and submit ‘sub 4% yield’ positions was a great sign of confidence for the wider retail sector.
