Stonebridge are pleased to confirm the off-market transaction of Level 1, 20 Queen Street, Melbourne.

The first floor at 20 Queen Street, Melbourne has been sold off-market to a Singaporean based education group through the Stonebridge Asia Practice.

This is the buyer’s first acquisition in Melbourne and they were represented by Charter Keck Cramer with a purchase mandate.

The deal involved a few layers of complexity given the 9B certification and existing lease in place. However, the transaction reflected a strong building rate of $10,700/psm which is on par with the recent sales on the upper levels of the building.

As the boarders have opened up and the CBD becomes noticeably busier we expect the level of office transactions to increase, especially within the education sector.
